This Privacy Policy describes how Zenoids Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Garage Pro mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

Please read this policy carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with it. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the App, and limited technical information from your device. We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the App.

a) Information you provide

• Account details: your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or sign in, including through Google Sign-In.
• Garage profile: your garage/workshop name, address, state, workshop types, and optionally your GST number.
• Customer records: names, phone numbers, and other details you enter for your own customers.
• Vehicle records: make, model, registration, and related details you add.
• Job cards: complaints, mechanic notes, charges, status, and other service records you create.

b) Media you provide

• Photos: images you capture or upload for vehicle inspections, damage evidence, and your profile picture.
• Voice input: when you use the microphone to dictate text, your speech is processed by your device's built-in speech-recognition service and converted to text within the field. We do not record, upload, or store audio.

c) Information collected automatically

• Device & usage data: basic technical information such as device type and app interactions, used to keep the App reliable and secure.
• Push notification tokens: a token that allows us to deliver notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create, maintain, and secure your account.
• To store and display your garage, customer, vehicle, and job-card records.
• To provide core features, including inspection photos, shareable job summaries, and voice-to-text input.
• To sync your data across sessions and devices where applicable.
• To send service-related notifications and updates.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process your information on the following grounds: performance of our service to you (to provide the App's features), your consent (for example, camera or microphone access), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the App), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Device Permissions

The App requests only the permissions needed for specific features. You may grant or deny them, and revoke them later in your device settings.

Photos / Storage	To select and attach existing images from your device.
Microphone	To enable voice-to-text dictation in form fields.
Notifications	To deliver job and account updates.

Denying a permission may limit the related feature but will not prevent you from using the rest of the App.

5. Data Storage, Location & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Data may be processed and stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing.

Access to your records is scoped to your own account through secure database rules, so other users cannot read or modify your data. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted infrastructure providers such as Google Firebase that host and process data on our behalf.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Protection of rights: to protect the safety, rights, or property of Zenoids Technologies, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under the same protections described here.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their policies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and records for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App. We may retain certain information longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your information.

10. Account & Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@zenoids.com from your registered email address. We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business use by garage owners and staff and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security Limitations

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will take appropriate action and notify affected users where required by law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
